To the Editor:
We appreciate Dr. Macias’ interest in our article,1 a case of a woman with Takotsubo syndrome (TTS) displaying visible serial ECG changes despite pacemaker stimulation. TTS has been reported to present various different ECG changes, mainly in repolarization, but also in QRS complexes.2
Usually, the most prominent changes are seen in the precordial leads, reflecting the myocardial segments mainly involved.
On request, we provide all the complete tracings from the case1 (Figures 1–8). In this patient, transient low voltage QRS complexes and transient attenuation of the amplitude of the QRS complexes were not clearly present.
