The one&#8208;year randomised data of the ABSORB II trial showed that the everolimus&#8208;eluting bioresorbable scaffold and the everolimus&#8208;eluting metallic stent were comparable for the composite secondary clinical outcomes of patient&#8208;oriented composite endpoint &#40;PoCE&#41; and device&#8208;oriented composite endpoint &#40;DoCE&#41;&#47;target lesion failure &#40;TLF&#41;&#44; MACE and TVF&#46; This report describes the two&#8208;year clinical outcomes of the ABSORB II trial&#46;</p><p id="par0025" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall"><span class="elsevierStyleBold">Methods and results</span>&#58; Patients were randomly assigned in a 2&#58;1 ratio to receive treatment with an everolimus&#8208;eluting bioresorbable scaffold &#40;Absorb&#59; Abbott Vascular&#44; Santa Clara&#44; CA&#44; USA&#41; or treatment with an everolimus&#8208;eluting metallic stent &#40;XIENCE&#59; Abbott Vascular&#41;&#46; The trial enrolled 501 patients&#46; Clinical follow&#8208;up at two years was available in 320 patients in the Absorb BVS arm and 160 patients in the XIENCE arm&#46; At two years&#44; the PoCE for the Absorb and XIENCE arms was 11&#46;6&#37; and 12&#46;8&#37; &#40;p<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>&#61;<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>0&#46;70&#41; and the DoCE&#47;TLF was 7&#46;0&#37; and 3&#46;0&#37; &#40;p<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>&#61;<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>0&#46;07&#41;&#44; respectively&#46; The hierarchical ID&#8208;MACE rate was 7&#46;6&#37; Two&#8208;year clinical results demonstrate sustained low rates of PoCE&#44; MACE&#44; DoCE and TVF with the Absorb BVS as compared to the XIENCE stent&#46;</p></span><span id="sec0010" class="elsevierStyleSection elsevierViewall"><span class="elsevierStyleSectionTitle" id="sect0010">Coment&#225;rio</span><p id="par0035" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">A introdu&#231;&#227;o na pr&#225;tica cl&#237;nica das pr&#243;teses intracoron&#225;rias totalmente bioabsorv&#237;veis &#40;BVS&#41; veio criar enormes expetativas&#44; ao materializar o conceito de uma pr&#243;tese tempor&#225;ria que exercesse o seu efeito de conten&#231;&#227;o da placa ateroscler&#243;tica enquanto necess&#225;rio e depois desaparecesse sem deixar presen&#231;a f&#237;sica&#46; O conceito de uma solu&#231;&#227;o transit&#243;ria para uma situa&#231;&#227;o transit&#243;ria fazia todo o sentido&#46;</p><p id="par0040" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Por outro lado&#44; admitiu&#8208;se que esse conceito de compromisso f&#237;sico transit&#243;rio participaria num processo que n&#227;o interferiria na din&#226;mica funcional das art&#233;rias coron&#225;rias&#44; completando um conceito de manuten&#231;&#227;o de um modelo funcional fisiol&#243;gico&#46;</p><p id="par0045" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Os primeiros resultados na pr&#225;tica cl&#237;nica&#44; com a utiliza&#231;&#227;o da segunda gera&#231;&#227;o de BVS da Abbott Vascular &#40;ABSORB BVS&#41;&#44; evidenciaram a seguran&#231;a e efic&#225;cia destas pr&#243;teses em condi&#231;&#245;es de utiliza&#231;&#227;o em les&#245;es de baixa complexidade anat&#243;mica<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0050"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">1</span></a> e abriram a porta &#224; investiga&#231;&#227;o sobre a sua utiliza&#231;&#227;o em enquadramento cl&#237;nico e anat&#243;mico mais complexo&#44; de acordo com a exig&#234;ncia da pr&#225;tica cl&#237;nica atual<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0055"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">2</span></a>&#46; Os resultados evidenciaram taxas de <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">Major Advers Cardiac Events</span> &#40;MACE&#41; na ordem dos 4&#44;4&#37;&#44; de <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">target vessel failure</span> &#40;TVF&#41; de 4&#44;8&#37; e de taxas de trombose aguda e subaguda inferior a 1&#37; &#40;0&#44;8&#37;&#41;&#44; enquadrando a sua utiliza&#231;&#227;o em crit&#233;rios de seguran&#231;a e efic&#225;cia pr&#243;ximos dos obtidos com o <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">drug eluting stents</span> &#40;DES&#41;&#44; que utiliza a mesma subst&#226;ncia antiproliferativa e que serve de comparador &#40;XIENCE &#8211; Abbott Vascular&#41;&#46;</p><p id="par0050" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Entretanto&#44; o registo europeu multic&#234;ntrico GHOST&#8208;EU&#44; publicado em 2014<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRefs" href="#bib0060"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">3&#44;4</span></a>&#44; avaliou a utiliza&#231;&#227;o destas pr&#243;teses tempor&#225;rias nas condi&#231;&#245;es de tratamento de doentes do &#171;mundo real&#187;&#44; em ambiente diferente do utilizado nos estudos que permitiram a sua certifica&#231;&#227;o&#46; Dos resultados desta avalia&#231;&#227;o que envolveu mais de 1000 doentes&#44; do maior registo publicado sobre estas pr&#243;teses&#44; destacam&#8208;se duas conclus&#245;es essenciais&#58; o BVS apresenta taxas aceit&#225;veis de <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">target lesion failure</span> &#40;TLF&#41; aos seis meses e taxas n&#227;o desprez&#237;veis de trombose&#44; que ocorria sobretudo nos primeiros trinta dias&#44; e que se aproximavam das identificadas nos DES de primeira gera&#231;&#227;o&#46; Apesar de n&#227;o serem n&#250;meros alarmantes&#44; foram identificados como n&#227;o negligenci&#225;veis e a justificar alguma pondera&#231;&#227;o cl&#237;nica na utiliza&#231;&#227;o de BVS em popula&#231;&#245;es n&#227;o selecionadas&#46;</p><p id="par0055" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Percebia&#8208;se destes resultados&#44; e de todas as avalia&#231;&#245;es morfol&#243;gicas intraluminais com a utiliza&#231;&#227;o da tomografia de coer&#234;ncia &#243;tica &#40;OCT&#41; que entretanto foram realizadas em alguns dos estudos<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0055"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">2</span></a>&#44; que a exig&#234;ncia t&#233;cnica na implanta&#231;&#227;o destas pr&#243;teses modelava os resultados e condicionava a seguran&#231;a&#46; Operadores mais experientes e mais rigorosos na t&#233;cnica de implanta&#231;&#227;o&#44; com pr&#233;&#8208;dilata&#231;&#227;o e p&#243;s&#8208;dilata&#231;&#227;o sistem&#225;ticas&#44; obtinham melhores resultados&#44; essencialmente determinados por um melhor perfil de seguran&#231;a&#46;</p><p id="par0060" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Conhecendo a cin&#233;tica de absor&#231;&#227;o destes BVS&#44; que teoricamente estaria conclu&#237;da num prazo de 3&#8208;4 anos<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0055"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">2</span></a>&#44; interessava saber os resultados da sua utiliza&#231;&#227;o numa janela temporal mais extensa e&#44; se poss&#237;vel&#44; comprovar a modifica&#231;&#227;o morfol&#243;gica prevista na arquitetura &#40;aumento da &#225;rea luminal&#41; e na fisiologia do vaso &#40;manuten&#231;&#227;o da vasorreatividade&#41; durante esse per&#237;odo de tempo&#46;</p><p id="par0065" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Os resultados a um ano do ABSORB II <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">Trial</span><a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0070"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">5</span></a> evidenciaram que o BVS ABSORB &#40;eluidor de everolimus&#41; e o DES XIENCE &#40;eluidor de everolimus&#41; eram compar&#225;veis em termos de resultados&#44; relativamente aos <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">end points</span> cl&#237;nicos secund&#225;rios compostos&#44; orientados para o doente &#40;PoCE&#41; e para o dispositivo &#40;DoCE&#41; &#8211; TLF&#44; MACE e TVF&#46;</p><p id="par0070" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">O artigo que selecionamos para &#171;artigo do m&#234;s&#187; apresenta os resultados do acompanhamento cl&#237;nico&#44; ao fim de dois anos&#44; dos doentes inclu&#237;dos no mesmo estudo<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0075"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">6</span></a>&#46;</p><p id="par0075" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Estes resultados mostram a manuten&#231;&#227;o de taxas baixas de PoCE&#44; MACE&#44; DoCE e TVF do ABSORB&#44; comparado com o XIENCE&#46;</p><p id="par0080" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Destacamos&#44; no entanto&#44; uma maior frequ&#234;ncia de enfarte do mioc&#225;rdio no grupo de doentes tratados com ABSORB&#44; condi&#231;&#227;o que surge principalmente nas primeiras 24 horas ap&#243;s a implanta&#231;&#227;o do BVS &#40;4 <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">versus</span> 1&#37;&#41;&#44; caracterizado por subida moderada dos valores de troponina&#46; As taxas de TLF baixas encontradas ao fim de um ano&#44; mantiveram&#8208;se baixas ao fim de dois anos e semelhantes &#224;s encontradas em outros estudos aleatorizados com ABSORB&#44; tais como o ABSORB III<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0080"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">7</span></a>&#44; ABSORB China<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0085"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">8</span></a> e ABSORB Jap&#227;o<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0090"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">9</span></a>&#44; com valores semelhantes aos encontrados para o XIENCE &#40;considerado um dos melhores DES de &#250;ltima gera&#231;&#227;o&#41;&#46; As taxas de revasculariza&#231;&#227;o foram maiores no grupo XIENCE&#44; mas &#224; custa de revasculariza&#231;&#227;o de outra les&#227;o&#44; que n&#227;o a les&#227;o previamente tratada no procedimento <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">index</span>&#46;</p><p id="par0085" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Relativamente &#224; taxa de trombose&#44; esta foi mais elevada no grupo ABSORB&#44; embora a diferen&#231;a n&#227;o tenha atingido significado estat&#237;stico&#46; As taxas de trombose aguda e subaguda foram tamb&#233;m semelhantes &#224;s encontradas nos estudos anteriormente referidos<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRefs" href="#bib0080"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">7&#8211;9</span></a>&#46; Os autores prop&#245;em como causa para esta condi&#231;&#227;o a perturba&#231;&#227;o na microcircula&#231;&#227;o provocada pela aposi&#231;&#227;o incompleta ou protus&#227;o dos <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">struts</span> do BVS&#44; justificando&#8208;se&#44; nas suas opini&#245;es&#44; uma t&#233;cnica de implanta&#231;&#227;o rigorosa&#44; de forma a minimizar estas condi&#231;&#245;es&#46;</p><p id="par0090" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Apesar de francamente promissora no conceito inicial&#44; a percentagem de utiliza&#231;&#227;o de BVS na pr&#225;tica cl&#237;nica n&#227;o tem sido a inicialmente esperada&#44; correspondendo a menos de 10&#37; das pr&#243;teses implantadas na pr&#225;tica cl&#237;nica atual&#46;</p><p id="par0095" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">A melhoria das suas caracter&#237;sticas f&#237;sicas com diminui&#231;&#227;o do perfil e melhoria do desempenho&#44; associada a um conhecimento mais claro dos resultados cl&#237;nicos de acompanhamentos mais longos&#44; poder&#227;o vir a modificar esta baixa taxa de utiliza&#231;&#227;o e projet&#225;&#8208;los como primeira op&#231;&#227;o no tratamento da doen&#231;a coron&#225;ria em condi&#231;&#245;es cl&#237;nicas e anat&#243;micas adequadas&#46;</p><p id="par0100" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">O futuro o dir&#225;&#33;</p></span><span id="sec0015" class="elsevierStyleSection elsevierViewall"><span class="elsevierStyleSectionTitle" id="sect0015">Conflito de interesses</span><p id="par0105" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">O autor declara n&#227;o haver conflito de interesses&#46;</p></span></span>"

and device&#8208;oriented composite endpoint &#40;DoCE&#41;&#47;target lesion failure &#40;TLF&#41;&#44; MACE and TVF&#46; This report describes the two&#8208;year clinical outcomes of the ABSORB II trial&#46;</p><p id="par0025" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall"><span class="elsevierStyleBold">Methods and results</span>&#58; Patients were randomly assigned in a 2&#58;1 ratio to receive treatment with an everolimus&#8208;eluting bioresorbable scaffold &#40;Absorb&#59; Abbott Vascular&#44; Santa Clara&#44; CA&#44; USA&#41; or treatment with an everolimus&#8208;eluting metallic stent &#40;XIENCE&#59; Abbott Vascular&#41;&#46; The trial enrolled 501 patients&#46; Clinical follow&#8208;up at two years was available in 320 patients in the Absorb BVS arm and 160 patients in the XIENCE arm&#46; At two years&#44; the PoCE for the Absorb and XIENCE arms was 11&#46;6&#37; and 12&#46;8&#37; &#40;p<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>&#61;<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>0&#46;70&#41; veio criar enormes expetativas&#44; ao materializar o conceito de uma pr&#243;tese tempor&#225;ria que exercesse o seu efeito de conten&#231;&#227;o da placa ateroscler&#243;tica enquanto necess&#225;rio e depois desaparecesse sem deixar presen&#231;a f&#237;sica&#46; O conceito de uma solu&#231;&#227;o transit&#243;ria para uma situa&#231;&#227;o transit&#243;ria fazia todo o sentido&#46;</p><p id="par0040" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Por outro lado&#44; admitiu&#8208;se que esse conceito de compromisso f&#237;sico transit&#243;rio participaria num processo que n&#227;o interferiria na din&#226;mica funcional das art&#233;rias coron&#225;rias&#44; completando um conceito de manuten&#231;&#227;o de um modelo funcional fisiol&#243;gico&#46;</p><p id="par0045" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Os primeiros resultados na pr&#225;tica cl&#237;nica&#44; com a utiliza&#231;&#227;o da segunda gera&#231;&#227;o de BVS da Abbott Vascular &#40;ABSORB BVS&#41;&#44; evidenciaram a seguran&#231;a e efic&#225;cia destas pr&#243;teses em condi&#231;&#245;es de utiliza&#231;&#227;o em les&#245;es de baixa complexidade anat&#243;mica<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0050"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">1</span></a> e abriram a porta &#224; investiga&#231;&#227;o sobre a sua utiliza&#231;&#227;o em enquadramento cl&#237;nico e anat&#243;mico mais complexo&#44; de acordo com a exig&#234;ncia da pr&#225;tica cl&#237;nica atual<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0055"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">2</span></a>&#46; Os resultados evidenciaram taxas de <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">Major Advers Cardiac Events</span> &#40;MACE&#41; na ordem dos 4&#44;4&#37;&#44; de <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">target vessel failure</span> &#40;TVF&#41; de 4&#44;8&#37; e de taxas de trombose aguda e subaguda inferior a 1&#37; &#40;0&#44;8&#37;&#41;&#44; enquadrando a sua utiliza&#231;&#227;o em crit&#233;rios de seguran&#231;a e efic&#225;cia pr&#243;ximos dos obtidos com o <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">drug eluting stents</span> &#40;DES&#41;&#44; que utiliza a mesma subst&#226;ncia antiproliferativa e que serve de comparador &#40;XIENCE &#8211; Abbott Vascular&#41;&#46;</p><p id="par0050" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Entretanto&#44; o registo europeu multic&#234;ntrico GHOST&#8208;EU&#44; publicado em 2014<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRefs" href="#bib0060"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">3&#44;4</span></a>&#44; avaliou a utiliza&#231;&#227;o destas pr&#243;teses tempor&#225;rias nas condi&#231;&#245;es de tratamento de doentes do &#171;mundo real&#187;&#44; em ambiente diferente do utilizado nos estudos que permitiram a sua certifica&#231;&#227;o&#46; Dos resultados desta avalia&#231;&#227;o que envolveu mais de 1000 doentes&#44; do maior registo publicado sobre estas pr&#243;teses&#44; destacam&#8208;se duas conclus&#245;es essenciais&#58; o BVS apresenta taxas aceit&#225;veis de <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">target lesion failure</span> &#40;TLF&#41; aos seis meses e taxas n&#227;o desprez&#237;veis de trombose&#44; que ocorria sobretudo nos primeiros trinta dias&#44; e que se aproximavam das identificadas nos DES de primeira gera&#231;&#227;o&#46; Apesar de n&#227;o serem n&#250;meros alarmantes&#44; foram identificados como n&#227;o negligenci&#225;veis e a justificar alguma pondera&#231;&#227;o cl&#237;nica na utiliza&#231;&#227;o de BVS em popula&#231;&#245;es n&#227;o selecionadas&#46;</p><p id="par0055" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Percebia&#8208;se destes resultados&#44; e de todas as avalia&#231;&#245;es morfol&#243;gicas intraluminais com a utiliza&#231;&#227;o da tomografia de coer&#234;ncia &#243;tica &#40;OCT&#41; que entretanto foram realizadas em alguns dos estudos<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0055"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">2</span></a>&#44; que a exig&#234;ncia t&#233;cnica na implanta&#231;&#227;o destas pr&#243;teses modelava os resultados e condicionava a seguran&#231;a&#46; Operadores mais experientes e mais rigorosos na t&#233;cnica de implanta&#231;&#227;o&#44; com pr&#233;&#8208;dilata&#231;&#227;o e p&#243;s&#8208;dilata&#231;&#227;o sistem&#225;ticas&#44; obtinham melhores resultados&#44; essencialmente determinados por um melhor perfil de seguran&#231;a&#46;</p><p id="par0060" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Conhecendo a cin&#233;tica de absor&#231;&#227;o destes BVS&#44; que teoricamente estaria conclu&#237;da num prazo de 3&#8208;4 anos<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0055"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">2</span></a>&#44; interessava saber os resultados da sua utiliza&#231;&#227;o numa janela temporal mais extensa e&#44; se poss&#237;vel&#44; comprovar a modifica&#231;&#227;o morfol&#243;gica prevista na arquitetura &#40;aumento da &#225;rea luminal&#41; e na fisiologia do vaso &#40;manuten&#231;&#227;o da vasorreatividade&#41; durante esse per&#237;odo de tempo&#46;</p><p id="par0065" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Os resultados a um ano do ABSORB II <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">Trial</span><a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0070"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">5</span></a> evidenciaram que o BVS ABSORB &#40;eluidor de everolimus&#41; e o DES XIENCE &#40;eluidor de everolimus&#41; eram compar&#225;veis em termos de resultados&#44; relativamente aos <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">end points</span> cl&#237;nicos secund&#225;rios compostos&#44; orientados para o doente &#40;PoCE&#41; e para o dispositivo &#40;DoCE&#41; &#8211; TLF&#44; MACE e TVF&#46;</p><p id="par0070" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">O artigo que selecionamos para &#171;artigo do m&#234;s&#187; apresenta os resultados do acompanhamento cl&#237;nico&#44; ao fim de dois anos&#44; dos doentes inclu&#237;dos no mesmo estudo<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0075"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">6</span></a>&#46;</p><p id="par0075" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Estes resultados mostram a manuten&#231;&#227;o de taxas baixas de PoCE&#44; MACE&#44; DoCE e TVF do ABSORB&#44; comparado com o XIENCE&#46;</p><p id="par0080" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Destacamos&#44; no entanto&#44; uma maior frequ&#234;ncia de enfarte do mioc&#225;rdio no grupo de doentes tratados com ABSORB&#44; condi&#231;&#227;o que surge principalmente nas primeiras 24 horas ap&#243;s a implanta&#231;&#227;o do BVS &#40;4 <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">versus</span> 1&#37;&#41;&#44; caracterizado por subida moderada dos valores de troponina&#46; As taxas de TLF baixas encontradas ao fim de um ano&#44; mantiveram&#8208;se baixas ao fim de dois anos e semelhantes &#224;s encontradas em outros estudos aleatorizados com ABSORB&#44; tais como o ABSORB III<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0080"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">7</span></a>&#44; ABSORB China<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0085"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">8</span></a> e ABSORB Jap&#227;o<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0090"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">9</span></a>&#44; com valores semelhantes aos encontrados para o XIENCE &#40;considerado um dos melhores DES de &#250;ltima gera&#231;&#227;o&#41;&#46; As taxas de revasculariza&#231;&#227;o foram maiores no grupo XIENCE&#44; mas &#224; custa de revasculariza&#231;&#227;o de outra les&#227;o&#44; que n&#227;o a les&#227;o previamente tratada no procedimento <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">index</span>&#46;</p><p id="par0085" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Relativamente &#224; taxa de trombose&#44; esta foi mais elevada no grupo ABSORB&#44; embora a diferen&#231;a n&#227;o tenha atingido significado estat&#237;stico&#46; As taxas de trombose aguda e subaguda foram tamb&#233;m semelhantes &#224;s encontradas nos estudos anteriormente referidos<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRefs" href="#bib0080"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">7&#8211;9</span></a>&#46; Os autores prop&#245;em como causa para esta condi&#231;&#227;o a perturba&#231;&#227;o na microcircula&#231;&#227;o provocada pela aposi&#231;&#227;o incompleta ou protus&#227;o dos <span class="elsevierStyleItalic">struts</span> do BVS&#44; justificando&#8208;se&#44; nas suas opini&#245;es&#44; uma t&#233;cnica de implanta&#231;&#227;o rigorosa&#44; de forma a minimizar estas condi&#231;&#245;es&#46;</p><p id="par0090" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Apesar de francamente promissora no conceito inicial&#44; a percentagem de utiliza&#231;&#227;o de BVS na pr&#225;tica cl&#237;nica n&#227;o tem sido a inicialmente esperada&#44; correspondendo a menos de 10&#37; das pr&#243;teses implantadas na pr&#225;tica cl&#237;nica atual&#46;</p><p id="par0095" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">A melhoria das suas caracter&#237;sticas f&#237;sicas com diminui&#231;&#227;o do perfil e melhoria do desempenho&#44;
