However, cardiac magnetic resonance imaging showed lesions typical of acute myocarditis, thus suggesting this diagnosis.We highlight the diagnostic difficulty in patients with chest pain, elevated troponin and normal coronary arteries, and the key role of cardiac magnetic resonance in differential diagnosis.
